It introduces an innovative digital platform creating teacher-parent communities at the school level, facilitating daily educational content sharing through WhatsApp groups[5:2]
- The focus is on the holistic development of young children by engaging parents and caregivers in simple, play-based learning activities[6]
- The technology platform uses AI and Machine Learning (ML) to send real-time behavioural nudges, track participation, and generate virtual ‘report cards’ to motivate parents and educators[4:3]
- It will ensure continuous parental guidance and involvement in children’s early learning processes, particularly benefiting over 3.8 lakh low-income families[5:3]
- It is aimed at transforming early childhood education for children aged 3 to 6 years[6:1]
- There are 3.5+ lakh pre-primary students currently enrolled in Punjab’s government schools[5:4]
- This initiative will initially be launched in 8 districts i.e. Ludhiana, Mohali, Patiala, Rupnagar, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Tarn Taran, Sangrur and Amritsar
- Developed in collaboration with the Punjab Development Commission and Rocket Learning NGO[5:5]
- Pilot program was succesfully conducted in Ludhiana district's pre-primary schools and co-located Anganwadis to test this innovative programme[4:4]
